Good post. It really gets at what I was saying last year about how it's a bit audacious of them to charge a monthly fee for early access. Because in reality they're charging you a monthly fee to beta test for them.

This sounds like such engaging gameplay. Way better than instancing content. On the plus side, it does seem like they finally broke from the EQ mold and have somehow come up with something even more cancerous. So way to go there. You know, everyone said that these devs were making the game...

Up until Gen X, generations used to be 20 years. Marketers decided 15 years was better for some reason. Gen X should've really been 1965 - 1985. And it would've fixed all the weird shit where 1981 - 1985 doesn't really fit well with Millennials due to being pre-mass internet adoption...
