Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

The problem becomes, this game needs people at all level ranges, and lots of them. Because otherwise you can't do a whole lot solo. And they're purposefully spreading their players thin. That's just the EA servers. Then they're going to add more servers for actual launch. Now consider their...

Huh, that's interesting. I figured in some years mid and small caps would do better and then the total market would win out, but I guess since the index also carries the large caps, you're not only getting the winners. Which would mean in the years where large caps are the winners, it's...

Yeah, thinking I'll move over to an S&P index instead of total market. It does the same thing (self cleansing), but eliminates all the small caps that don't do shit anyway. Initiated the transfer just now, although I thought I could do the traditional and Roth same day, but looks like I can...

Oddly, I have 80% C and 20% S and it outperforms my VTSAX pretty well.

Can't decide if today will be a good day to initiate my rollover from my TSP to Vanguard. The 2-3 week expected timeframe where the money is out of the market gives me so much anxiety.

    The Terminal List: Dark Wolf

I feel like I probably stalled out on Strike Back at some point, but it was so long ago I can't even remember anything about the show. As far as this show, I really couldn't get into it. I'll likely try again eventually. I loved the first season, but the first half of the first episode of this...

Yeah, but are you going to play EA, or are you waiting another 2-3 years for actual release?

    Weapons (2025)

I mean, sure, it's a very well crafted and shot film. And I'm not saying it was bad. I was interested for basically the entire length, outside of like I said Alex's chapter which for some reason didn't work as well for me. Probably because it did linger a lot longer than the rest of it. Oddly it...

    Weapons (2025)

Haven't read the thread yet, but maybe I just don't get horror movies? It was fine. The premise was interesting. But especially during Alex's story, it just seemed to really drag. In the end it just kind of seems like a movie happened, but nothing was super memorable about it. For some reason...

Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

It's almost like you're describing an idle game that wants you to pay a $15 month sub for.

I said that last week. It's a game you do other shit while playing. I don't know that that's a ringing endorsement.

Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

There's a test server that's always on (except during the public tests). That's why when I said they released a single patch just before the open test. Otherwise that wouldn't make any sense, because obviously they'd only have one.

Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

And yet, there are still massive issues like people falling through the world, monsters being stuck in terrain, and zone lines that don't work. It seems like there's no amount of excuses that won't be made for this game.

Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

Speaking of bug fixes, their whole part time thing is definitely working against them. Know how many patches they did between the two open tests? Just one, a couple days before the test. I'm not sure why they're pushing changes so slowly, or what purpose having a test server is when they don't...
