Yea I read the update too. I'm pretty doubtful they can re-engineer the entire core and backend in ~2 weeks for a stable launch. Server power was never the issue.

Smells like desperation to me to try and get ahead of the Turtle server. Safe money is it still has massive performance problems.

Gonna take my victory lap here with them officially throwing in the towel and now having to outsource their core/server backend to Ascension.
