The foot pedals here are mostly a joke. The real interest is how good using a joystick for movement and mouse for camera is in games like elden ring. It's just tough to get enough buttons hound, which is where the foot pedals help a little.

That's all totally plausible. And I think it would've been very positive if WotC spun up a "sustainment" development crew that worked with Larian to build DLC / expansions for BG3 while working to make their engine and mod tools a licensed system.

In an alternate universe, Larian would be releasing Torment II around now while supporting their game engine as a major platform for other devs. Conversely, even if WotC came to terms with Larian about BG3 support, I think Larian would rather develop new IP and only did BG3 to make money so...

I wish they'd add a more challenging and more rewarding sanity using task. Just an "Agony" mode to the existing tasks with a 50% boost in rewards would be enough.
