I have not, not having loud skunk around has been nice. It always changed faction to scowl when my wife smells it.

The only thing I can think of are those guns were the precursor to the pulse rifle and may be a bit under powered, but it's really under powered writing. Then again the aliens and synthetics living are priority 1.
