I think Blizzard design D4 to be between an ARPG and MMO. They are going to use endgame system like seasons from traditional ARPG, but also mix with MMO elements like public event/quest, perhaps even larger scale pvp. I like it so far, let's see what more they bring to the table.
I wish the necro minions look more dark/grim. Currently with the cartoon blue glow, they feel like

Assuming minions power fall off during endgame due to crazy resistance boss, I wonder how effective blood/fortify + corpse explosion/light minion is, without any legendary.

The state where one can consider is highly subjective. Just because you think it's finished/unfinished doesn't necessary mean other is obligated to feel the same.

When it comes to class/skill, POE and the Diablo franchise offer completely different approach. POE is more "open world", where Diablo is more "linear".
Now, is it fair to say Skyrim is a better game than Mass Effect or vice versa? I don't think so...
