If I remember correctly the border area included everything within 100 miles of the border, so some stuff is legal for the government to do in that zone that isn't in the rest of the US. Never mind that the vast majority of the population lives within 100 miles of the border.

No, more like gamer fantasy without tons of sex. Just read book 1 of DCC, the writing isn't great in the first book but you'll get an idea of the genre. They are quick reads.

Given how free Litrpg is with both violence, over the top humor, and sex it's hard to imagine being satisfied with any adaption of any of them. DCC would be terrible. They'd show the first kill and maybe a few of the first dungeon kills but most of it would be implied. I could go on about...
