Hell of a pole

I just don't have the time anymore. A home to maintain, a teenage son to keep entertained and fed. When I do play games, it's ones I can drop in and drop out without issues. Me and the kid are playing modded Terraria and Forza Horizon 5. He's not interested in the long play slower RPGs.

On self-driving cars, and electrics, I was recently in Phoenix Arizona, and they have "Waymo" taxis driving around. They have LIDAR, cameras, etc, and seem to function rather well. It's a bit disconcerting seeing one driving down the road without anyone in it.

Charging station availability, driving range, charging time, overall depreciation, hazards from the battery, are really driving factors keeping me away.

My work has Steelcase Leap V2s, and if I have to go in office a lot I get butt pain. At home I have a refurbed Herman Miller Aeron C, and it's great, since I probably spent like 12 hours a day in it.

I feel like half the games released today are Survival/Crafting/Building/Open World/Sandbox games, which is fine, I'll play them occasionally, but I like storylines

My kid loves the Forza Horizon series, so I bought us both FH5 to play. These are the buggiest games I've played since Cyberpunk. After about an hour of playing, it stops recognizing my controller inputs. Trying to join together for a "Convoy" often times requires me to force stop two...

My kid is big into Pokemon, but he's also big into Minecraft and Roblox. We just started playing RDR2 Online together... was considering Monster Hunter as a sort of grindy game.

Fights like this, where the blocks the guys kick like it's nothing, are such bullshit lol.
