Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019)

Someone should tell him that he doesn't need to live his life based on some retarded idea he told a reporter 30 years ago. Martin Scorsese and Clint Eastwood made great movies when they were old as dirt.

I got mine in 2019. 7mm thick stuff from Lumber Liquidators. I had 2 border collies on it and I live in the country so mud and gravel are always getting tracked in. Coming up on 5 years ago now and even with some leaking issues in the laundry room I couldn't tell you anything that's wrong...

Fair enough. I don't intend to sell my house so that wasn't a consideration for me.

FWIW I totally respect that. If you like real wood and want it in your house then by all means go for it.

LVP in a decent brand is superior to real wood in every way. Don't listen to these old farts that just want to rationalize how much they spent on their floor. Tile is just a cold, hard surface to walk around on not to mention that if you drop a plate it's almost guaranteed to break and maybe...

I've poured a few slabs. Biggest thing as has been mentioned is getting the ground compacted as well as possible. Never used a roller, just a rented plate compactor and/or jumping jack. You can probably drive your tractor over it a bit to help as well. If you don't get it compacted it will...

Cheap Meals: Eating on a budget.

Flat Iron steaks were only "discovered" in 1998. They come from a single muscle in the chuck that's surrounded by tougher cuts. They were rejected at first because they are kind of labor intensive for the packer, but around 2006 they started showing up a lot of places. I imagine people didn't...

    Homesteading and Hobby Farm/Ranch

Stihl actually makes a fuel injected saw (500i) but it's a $1600 beast with a 28" bar on it. Anything that's appropriate for back 40 use is going to be carbureted.

Can't go wrong with Stihl or Husqvarna. I have one of each with a 24" bar on both of them and I can tear some shit up but actually if it can get the job done, my favorite saw to use is my 14" Makita electric one. It's so light and quiet and you never have any trouble starting it, and you can...

    Home Theater/Game Room Thread

I tend to agree that so-called "serious audiophiles" are either nut jobs or people with more money than they know what to do with and shouldn't be taken too seriously. On the other hand, when they play the THX sound effect at the beginning of a movie and the room shakes from your big assed...

One thing I can say from experience is that if you're upgrading over time, upgrade the center channel before or at the same time as your L and R speakers unless you like watching movies and having the sound effects and score drown out the dialog.
