I agree. During the flying mount event in beta, I was surprised at just how much of the world was still locked off. I couldn"t even fly across Kojan because of locked islands, and there were plenty of areas that Icouldfly over that had no mobs whatsoever. Granted, that doesn"t mean there isn"t...
