Perky has been cool. It took a while to get rolling, but I am fully hooked atm. About to do rebirths on my primary guys. I get the impression it plays very differently than THJ at the high end, but the gear is in many ways a lot more interesting.

Making serious change to the THJ model I think is a major mistake and shows major hubris.

Did end up taking Perky a bit further. Having a lot of fun actually. The bazaar is a lot better when the server doesn't keep going down. Grinding MMM, just hit 40 and huge power spike with mythic armor and weapons.

If you start out SSF on Perky it's not very fast, at least in my experience.

Yeah at very high end I think Fire and Vex Thal were best. But functionally DN was just insanely better than most anything for a long time. Also pet cuck was totally ridiculous forever. And most melee builds were trash? I think plenty of balance issues existed there.

If we can get a Daybreak sanctioned expansion of EQ content through this channel where they can attract a slightly larger dev team and people don't have to be afraid of their actions being scrutinized, I see this as a win for EQ long term.
