I spent so much time in COM. Really great atmosphere, and decent risk/reward for the level. I miss the pre-revamp when it was mostly undead, and not the weird human refugees... what was the deal with those?

Does anyone know why Old Sebilis and Howling Stones both had red orb teleporters as their entrances instead of conventional walk through zones? Is it just because these were keyed zones and that was the only way they could implement a keyed approach? My second guess would be that they didn't...

Main hand and off hand swing independent of each other. Off hand has to pass a dual wield roll to trigger. That's all. Go to the same mob, and take out your iphone, press start on your timer, and see how fast you kill it with dual wield. Do the same with the 2hander on the same mob...

Why run at 1000 fps if your monitor can't refresh that quickly?

Even WoW has had to do stat squishes and such. Honestly I think the heroic stat approach is better / easier to understand over the long run. EQ isn't perfect, but in terms of the possibility frontier for these types of games, I think EQ navigated it extremely well. There aren't too many things...

Heard on one of the ALovingRobot twitch streams that the original plan was to just scale defense and regeneration to deal with the 32k cap. By Kunark top mobs were regenerating as fast as the clock cycles could go, essentially a variable amount depending on what else was being processed, and...

Thanks for the codes. Played this a bit today. Somewhat interesting system - 10-ish classes, each with then presteige / promotion classes via talents. Haven't progressed much yet but looks like basic Tank, Healer, DPS Ranged/Melee, CC type specializations.

I love it - hoping them all the best. Will be following this as it develops. Why all the negativity? They seem to be stepping up and taking a swing with a pretty level headed approach. Its way to early to know much about anything other than a desire to make the world that people seem to want.
