Yeah, it's very unserious. Kind of a weird blend of action movie and comedy. The soundtrack was also good. Speaking of soundtrack, I laughed pretty hard at the scene in the car at the end. The whole scene was a good summary of the movie. It does also go well with the "What are these movies?"...

Are you from the writing team? This show is starting to give me LOST vibes; the bloody noses, main character with her son's name and birthday, and Alex clearly being a thing not a person which they keep very obviously trying to misdirect with. I think they're going to do a time travel thing...

In fairness, I think in the first or second episode these faggots also got all huffy and puffy about the prisoner being handcuffed to the gurney. So they're pretty consistent in "no one is guilty here in the hospital!" It's just a really tone deaf blind spot for the show.

I wasn't necessarily saying people here (although there are a couple), but it sounds like the Discord/Reddit people are really on "team Nick." Hence all the posts about Shawn freaking out in Discord and handling it poorly. I couldn't give a shit about Nick. I don't know him, never will...
