NVidia GeForce RTX 50x0 cards - 70% performance increase, but AI > you

The only flaw in your plan is 70% replacement rate for Social Security relies on the intake of current FICA taxes. If AI displaces that much of the workforce, suddenly they're not collecting FICA anymore and that 70% drops to almost nothing, if not zero.

    Everquest Legends

That's why these threads go like this though. We can see the nugget that if they'd do it right, would be successful. We want these games to succeed. And every time they fuck it up. I don't shit all over MnM because I'm just an asshole and want it to fail. It's because they could've had a game...

    Everquest Legends

I think his issue is they're basically triple dipping? You're paying a box price and subscription, and yet that's still not enough for you to have all the content, so they're doing micro transactions on top of it all. Even for a brand new AAA game that seems like a stretch, but for this? C'mon...

    Disclosure Day (2026)

Dunno man, Spielberg seems like one of those (all of them?) who people assume makes good movies, but then you realize no, he was a product of a time period and after that time period he either got in his own head, or it just didn't work anymore. Has he made a truly great movie in the last two...

Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

It's funny to me that they're relying on "this is still closed beta," when they were supposed to be in early access already. But worse, they're like 3 months out from their new early access date, where they will be charging people to play the game. So I think criticism of anything is fair game...

    Adrullan Online (Formerly Evercraft)

On a superficial level I'd agree with you, but graphics don't even remotely correlate with "fun." I've got more hours in Terraria than any other game. In fact, the games I typically find the most fun resorted to more basic graphics almost across the board. Basically any AAA game nowadays...

Ah shit, I completely forgot about that. Because it seemed like a throw away scene from the previous episode. Thanks for that!

    Adrullan Online (Formerly Evercraft)

I mean, I agree the gameplay is definitely fun. It's the big difference between the two games to me. MnM I feel like the game is actively fighting me, adding tedium wherever possible. Any fun I have is basically in spite of the game, not because of it. AoA is fun because they removed all the...

    Adrullan Online (Formerly Evercraft)

MnM graphics do indeed suck, but I think the one thing that will keep people away from this is the graphics. You either like it or you don't. And if you don't, you're not even going to touch this.

She went to the lighthouse and escaped back to the real world. Found Victor's dad, something happened with him (heart attack?), and an ambulance came and got them both. Ambulance got sucked into From world with super annoying blonde cop girl. Which is why whatever that was supposed to be (with...

Game Pass for Xbox and PC

I mean...no shit? Pretty sure many of us predicted that. It's amazing how things that are super obvious somehow elude these massive corporations.

Best part of the entire season was Henry (I think? Victor's dad) and his whatever the fuck that was. Whether real or imagined. Most interesting thing so far. And it was like 8 seconds.

Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

The ironic part is the types that are the target audience for this will absolutely pay the monthly sub to beta test for them. They may as well just release it and say fuck it at this point and balance everything as they go. Holding out for some hypothetical audience that will be scared away by...

    Masters of the Universe (2026)

I'm watching the RLM review of it now, and it kind of hit me that really He-Man is a property for people 50+ at this point. I vaguely remember He-Man, but I don't know that I was ever really into it. I'm just not quite old enough. If you were the target demographic for this in 1983-84, you were...
