The threat of pvp enhances the PvE as well though. You gotta stay frosty and occasionally you get to fuck somebody up with a charmed seahorse (if they don’t have pumice stones).

I agree with you on the small scale combat. I had some pretty fucking epic 1v1's that lasted like 5-10 mins, and when I won those fights, it felt amazing.
