I don"t have any FPS issues with my 8800 but every once and awhile some objects are snow white. Not a big deal to me though.

I"d say its the #1 most important thing. Look at EQ2, terrible game in beta/release, improved 10 fold, still struggling to get more customers because of the initial impressions.

I think it would be a good thing. DDO failed because they used the most obscure and unpopular setting, Eberron. Toril without Drow Elves, or atleast without good drow elves, would be sweet. Or we would have a ton of Drizzts. So many good starting races/cities.

RA Salvatore played EQ at one time atleast. I remember reading on his site a long time ago, he had a ranger character (maybe on EMarr?), and he got in a lawsuit with Sony or something because they changed his character name because of trademark infringement, even though he owned the trademark.
