That is what we were doing, but we were trying to carry a very casual friend. While 2 of us averaged 70-80 kills each, the third was getting 30-35. We justs didn't have the add killing power we needed. But, I am not worried. I have cleared the Raid without BS. I do not feel I need it

You missed the point. We run the raid just to run it. We do nightfalls, bounties, dailies. Just to hang out, talk smack, perform different roles. You are not more efficient, you just get bored easily. Go play Halo, or Witcher, or any other Solo game, when Destiny bores you. But Bungies model is...

What exotic armor piece for Sunsinger Warlocks would you guys suggest for HM Raid? I cleared up to Oryx which we didn't even attempt because my group went from 300 light to 313. Everything else we one or 2 shotted.

I like the sniper and shotgun. They are convenient. I like wasting all the ammo and not having to spend time to reload.
