Thankfully, the gap between ROTJ and the sequels allows for a lot of stories to happen in-between, and there's also leeway even between episodes of the original trilogy. Some of that stuff is best told in anthology format akin to the recent Tales of [insert Jedi/Sith/Underworld] to tell short...

Not a nuke, an experimental thermobaric bomb (as of a RE3 director intereview). There's no radiation when you return to Raccoon City eventually, and the crater from the blast is much smaller than the city.

Sure but it's hard to compare the scope and attention to detail between Resident Evil and Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. If Capcom had wanted to make it a serious intro, they didn't have to do it in FMV and could have just put up character sheets with badass illustrations, they purposely decided to...

They spent 15 minutes of that episode trying to break through Rock Hard's stone skin because he is able to hold his breath and wouldn't inhale the virus, to no avail. In the end, he dies in seconds from the virus even though he wasn't breathing it in, so it seems to infect Supes just by contact...

It's not. It's an impassable path due to the ashtray's influence until you find the janitor's walkman and headphones and listen to the music, which makes it a linear if somewhat weird path, but it makes for an awesome action scene with cool music. It makes sense in context!

Control 2 coming later this year - hopefully. It looks quite interesting, I'm excited. Control was amazing. One of Control's coolest moments, without context :

The translations I can accept, but it's hard to believe the FMV intro with the terrible acting and the over the top character sheets with rock music and fire effects are not intentionally cheesy. There's certainly a B-movie intent, even if it was made even more corny/legendary due to the poor...
