I think it hits the feels for folks that lost a parent or parents, especially early, in their life. My wife and I felt the same way you did and could not make it through the movie...god awful.

To be fair to the Twitch viewing audience’s taste...his channel hasn’t really grown at all compared to others who have been around forever. I would consider him a pretty small channel at this point.

Also, the theory that Bran is GRRM’s take on The Fisher King appears to be somewhat, if not completely, on target. The theory itself has been around since before the tv show aired, and now that we know the landing spot of Bran = king then the theory really begins to make sense. Book Bran...
