Aside from the green shit (likely diarrhea mixed with animal bile) floating around in the water in that aerial photo of the Olympics area, the water doesn't look "terrible?"

Half my extended family is in Rio and I've been there dozens of times. That bay is a literal fucking cesspit and the only way to clean it up would be to drain it and launch the contents into the sun. You could not pay me to get near that water. The lawsuits from sick athletes are going to roll in.

This kind of attack is very common in Rio, especially during rush hour in the tunnels. It's happened to my uncle twice.
