Yeah me too, but I have seen del Toro talk about what Hellboy 3 would be, and it sounds fucking amazing. He's a filmmaker I really like so I still hold out hope for this, even though realistically I know what it means when he has already been denied funding from every studio.

There IS going to be another HELLBOY MOVIE.
It's going to be an R rated reboot directed by Neil Marshall (The Descent, Game Of Thrones) and staring David Harbour (Stranger Things) as Hellboy.

As long as Mignola is heavily involved, I'm in, but I would have greatly favored a return of the original cast and crew of the first 2. It will actually be interesting to see what a different director does with the material. More importantly, if it does well I'd love a whole series of movies.

I think Perlman's age is an issue as well. Dude is 67.

I would rather have had Hellboy 3 than a new series. At least we'll be getting more Hellboy though.

perlman was too old for the role ten years ago and was still fine, even with a younger actor they are still going to use CGI and stunt doubles, might as well bring in perlman who personified the franchise. and i dont care how fucking old she is now. i need my selma blair fix. ok, dont let me down on this.

Yeah. It seems everyone involved is fairly talented. I don't know the director, never saw The Descent. It won't be the same as Del Toro's vision which is sad. But if they do it justice it will be good, I guess.
