New girl at work. Fresh out of college, super cute. I talked with her a bit, managed an excuse to get her number. You know, for work reasons, totally professional /wink wink. Ended up texting a bit, she asked if I'm single (awww yeahh....)

She's now trying to set me up with her mom :(
Maybe she wants a threesome

When someone talks big about drinking, and you think "I could drink that fucker under the table" and remember you have cirrhosis and it would kill you.

The classic rock station where I live is definetly not classic rock. Black Hole Sun and other 90's stuff does not qualify...yet.
how old do you think music has to be before its considered classic rock? the seattle sound started 25 years ago. 25 years ago classic music was considered anything from the 70s. thats not even a 20 year space of time. i know it sucks and so people try to deny they are old fuckers now so instead of using the term classic rock something which our dads listened to they classify everything by decade. i dont mind. i like music from the 50s to at least the 90s. todays stuff doesnt do much for me, some exceptions of course, but i just dont get 90% of it. i ask myself, how can kids listen to this? they arent even using musical instruments, their own fucking voice or even harmonies. it boggles my mind. kids are weird.

I guess I would be in favor of each period having their own naming convention. I guess it is that way kinda now, but they just seem to bleed together a bit.

Parking car after spending the morning cleaning and polishing it in a space at local supermarket miles away from any other car and come back to it surrounded by some of the worst parking ever and having to squeeze back into car knowing those toss pots won't have been so careful getting out of theirs

When porn stars previously trying to pretend they belong in the "teen" category are now main stays in the "stepmom and milf" category.

Yeah that's the common usage as I understand it. You become a porn milf when you get the bolt ons.

Mention the 55mph national speed limit to someone (in the US) and they look at you like you have a 3rd head, especially considering they're in a state now that has state wide 75mph maximum on the I-state and in places 85mph. Yeah I'm old I can remember those days. Old enough to remember cars that had 55mph circled on the speedo to make sure you knew it, and some cars (chryslers I think) that came from the factory governed 55mph max.

All that came about from the 70s oil crisis. 55 mph was the "sweet spot" for fuel savings, which the gov forced on everyone by the national limit.

National Maximum Speed Law - Wikipedia

It's crazy to think, this law wasn't repealed until 1995. (Was raised to 65mph in the 80s)

I got a speeding ticket for 72mph in a 55mph on a brand new interstate that had NOTHING on it at all. For 200 miles it was just an interstate and an exit every 40 miles. I was 16 (could get license then at 15) and went to court. Judge looked at the description of where it was, said "I went there last week OMG the speed limit should be 100mph" and threw it out. My parents thought they had it on me and they were like "You lucky son of a bitch". Of course I went last at family court and by the time all the other "youths" went first I felt like a rhoads scholar. I think I was the only non repeat felon.

But yeah I'm old, remember the 55mph speed limits, and paying $0.59/gallon of gas. Also there was a few stations still around where they would pump your gas for an extra few cents a gallon. I remember a friend used it on his parents Exxon card and it showed up. That was the end of that lol.
