There are a lot of really nice places in Oregon, where you can park for free, public schools are good, and you can afford for your kids to have their own room. Probably within 30 minutes of your current location. It doesnt have to be like this.

I understand the part about not wanting to add a new car payment, I think everyone can sympathize with that. But if you absolutely had to, it doesn't have to cost you $400/month, you know. I mean, unless there is also some anti-suburbia car clause I'm not aware of as well.

There isn't. But if you're going to buy a car you might as well get a good one and not pour 2-4K down the drain every other year.

It is amazing to me how much of a piece of shit some people are. You try and help a guy out and he just keeps trying to shit on you in every way possible. Had a friend pull some similar shit on me, after I had let him bum at my place and drive a vehicle for over a year. Then suddenly he vanishes with my car.
