I got a mail today from a cowboy lawyer, claiming my ip was used for torrents in 2015. "please, Sir, pay €300 for torrenting Nightcrawler". I don't torrent. Never seen Nightcrawler. Fuuuuuuuuuuck.

As I recently discovered, it really depends on who is involved.

My wife uses a NuvaRing. Sometimes she leaves it in, sometimes not. Impacts her enjoyment more than mine, I can tell its there but I can't say it bothers me. She talked about getting an IUD maybe six months ago and didn't follow through but now I'm scared she will bring it up again.

No, thats a stupid position to take. When you steal something, the person you stole it from no longer has it. Thats the entire reason why stealing is wrong in the first place.

Downloading movies is sharing, and sharing is a Positive Good. No one loses anything in the process. (No, "lost potential revenue" isnt loss, its made up bullshit, I was never gonna buy that movie so the company lost nothing)

You can argue torrenting movies is bad in some way but you cant argue its stealing. Youll have to invent another reason its wrong.

I can say with 100% certainty I would have never purchased any film I watched for free online, if anything it is a net gain because at least the branding has free distribution

When there is a film/project I care about I will go purchase it to specifically support it

My OB said that if you use a condom and the problem fixes it's the strings, if not it's the cervix you're hitting since the cervix is closed. Idk. Then found out the copper IUD has cloth strings. Wish we knew that ahead of time. Plus condoms are disgusting if you've been going 6 years without them.

Exactly correct. There are valid arguments to be made about copyright infringements. But thats nothing whatsoever related to theft. Theft involves a loss and there is no loss here.

(Copyright laws are bullshit as written but at least they are technically applicable bullshit)
