The Strain

This is one of those shows that is so bad, yet for some inexplicable reason I can't stop watching. The acting, the dialogue, and the characters (except ratman and Jew Helsing) all blow. The vampires, the lore, and the overarching storyline are probably all that has me coming back.

The scene where the virologist performs trauma surgery with a shrink-wrapped surgical kit that is conveniently available in some Chinatown warehouse has to be one of the dumbest moments on television, ever.

Why would an English major write a speech with "blowhard" and "bitch" in it?

This is inception. Shitty writers writing about shitty writing.

Am I the only one enjoying this?

I say "Occido Lumen" and strigoi about 20 times a day, because I like how they sound.

Naw I watch it weekly. Sure it has issues but I like the over all story and lore of the ancients etc.

I saw that and I am thinking holy shit they got the green light to do this on regular TV wow.

The depths of this annoying kid's stupidity after the second season finale has hit a record high, breaching levels untolerable to watch. I literally can't take it. I was raging. It's insulting to viewers, and to 10 year olds. Oh how the mighty have fallen, Mr. Toro.

The season finale was meaningless; a perfect ending to an aimless season. The writing got less derpy, acting got better, but the season really didn't go anywhere. We just watched 13 episodes of filler.

This show tends to start strong, and then fades as the season goes. I'm kind of curious, if the Dr. is so important to Feraldo, then why she's not given him a couple of armed guards, especially since he's prone to wander off in unsafe places?

I thought that was the last episode and humanity lost but then I see theirs another season coming? How the fuck do you have any of the cast live after that, well except Anakin.

I actually thought that was going to be the last episode as well, till the kid pulls off his asshat move. Someone needs to kill that kid already, never liked him since he was introduced, just an annoying little whiny bitch...but thanks to him, the triumph of humanity about to win goes down the shitter. No clue what next season will be like, don't even know how they can fight this anymore lol.
