That was my impression as well. Weapons were bad/vehicles not great I just don't see this pulling me in over something like titan fall 2.

I felt that way the first few hours then it got better.

I couldn't sleep last night so I was goofing off in the fighter and was just raping everyong, then they 2v1'd me, lol. I spent the whole match evading.

Yeah, same here. This was kinda underwhelming after coming out of the TF2 beta. TF is so playable out of the box, even with base guns and no unlocks.

IIRC it kinda has always been the case with BF series - guns for most classes suck until you get unlocks. Also, target visibility was never good but there's target marking to make up for it.

I may give this a try again at some point but for beta weekends if I have 60 bucks to spend on a game battlefield 1 did nothing to win that cash and TF2 did.

Don't forget to bind "pull up" to space bar. It makes flying extremely less demanding on the mouse hand.

Or keep a controller plugged in and switch to that when flying, honestly a controller is superior in all ways while flying in most BF games.

I can actually fly like a motherfucker in this game, where usually in BF games I don't even get in aerial vehicles.

Beta ends tomorrow and I am sad face.

In the 4 hours Origin says I played this thing, it went from a 'won't buy' in the first hour to 'shut up and take my money' by the 4th hour.

Disappointing they never put a second map into the beta, but yeah I'm keeping my pre order on this for sure, on the fence for titanfall 2 will need to see an actual PC beta

I'll be buying this and I look forward to playing with FoH people. I had a lot of fun during beta.

I was reading and I think I'm going to do the EA Early Access thing. Subscribe for one month for $5, then cancel. This gives -10% off buying of the game, so actually saving money. This also allows limited hours -- usually ten -- of early playtime ( I think OCT13-18th? ). This is what I did when Battlefront came out.

Is the flying in this like BF1942? I was an ace in that game.

Biggest thing I am happy about is no fucking no-skill heat seeking missiles. That shit ruined the more modern BF games because any scrub can just fire + forget.

It plays alot more like 1942/1943 with the hilarity of BC2. It's fun as shit with friends and not retarded like 3&4 where you can just get in a vehicle with IR and kill anything that moves.

I really like that they toned down the destruction as well, so you can actually hide behind/in buildings as infantry.
