Except most animals are raised in pretty awful conditions unless you are buying from a local farm.

Measuring for black out/triple cell shades for heat reasons..... windows are almost half an inch out of square top from bottom..... So deal with a sliver of light (probably fine more worried about it negating my insulation) or do the outside the frame mount.

Went to get blood work done today ahead of my dr's appointment next week. Even though I have the dr's orders in my hand I have to go to registration before the lab. Registration takes 30 minutes. The lab took less than 5 from waiting to done.

I don't give a shit about the age of the calf. It's some of the practices that are used on them that's a problem. Granted, some of them have been banned or restricted, but there's a whole list here: Veal - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I wonder what protest / cause you would give time and money to - one that wants to eleminate veal all together- or bans/regulations on 4chan reddit etc for their /r/deadbabypictures or whatever the fuck it is.

Get roped into a weekend with the whole family at some resort hotel, split a room that we were told head start king size bed and a queen. Queen is a sofa sleeper, floor it is.

Start pulling into a parking space at the supermarket only to see a shopping cart in the middle, and since I'm already half way in I need to get out to move it to finish parking. If you're going to be a lazy asshole like the rest of us at least have the god damn common courtesy to move the cart into the inside corner of the parking space!

I have seen some pretty fucked up videos regarding treatment of animals to be slaughtered, some years ago someone got upset about crabs or lobsters being boiled alive and I pointed out a video of a crab ripping its own claw off.

I have no certainty of what a crab feels when tossed in a boiling pot, but I think its clear mammals like these Raccoon dogs feel pain in the way a human does.


Things die so that we may live, but empathy would dictate we treat them with decency while they live and kill them absent brutality and unneeded suffering.

Yeah those dude are just being dicks. It probably makes the process take longer and harder by not killing them first. I guess the only reason they don't is so they don't get blood all over the place. I've never tried to bludgeon an animal to death, so I can't comment on how hard it would be to reliably strike killing blows.

What I see.

Fella I work with left his car in for a service in local main dealer, came back shouting that ever since they done a service his phone wouldnt connect to his car, was wanting compensation, shouting that the dealer was no good, bad mouthing all the mechanics. I asked to try, he didnt have the bluetooth turned on on his phone. Assholes everywhere the eye can see

Ordered something from off the internet thats being shipped by Fedex. Package originates from a city LITERALLY 5 MILES AWAY from me.

Go to check on the tracking status today and it was shipped across the country.
