I was 15 freshman in highschool, was in sociology class and my teacher turned on the TV to CNN. He turned it off and said it was probably an accident and tried to teach his class.

When the second plane hit they sent us home. When I got home I logged into EQ and it was everywhere in /ooc. The GMs on my server did a broadcast explaining what happened but saying that EQ is an escape from reality and we should not talk about it in /ooc. It didn't stop anyone though, it was strange because I remember what zone I was in when I logged in so many years ago, I could log back in today and navigate a character to that specific spot where I was standing when the GM broadcast happened.

14 Freshman in High School, Spanish class 9 AM? She turned the tv on for a minute than turned it off and said we had to go about our day, near the end of the day Global Studies teacher tried turning the tv on but the School cut the cable off.

Got home, also logged into EQ in the Dreadlands, people were talking about it.

I think I was about 19 and getting ready for some college class I as taking. Didn't really sink in what happened until the afternoon when my professor for my second class gave us the day off to watch what was going on.

I was at work early around 8 CST setting up the bar area at the sports bar n grill watching Band of Brothers part 2 on the jumbo TV. The Dday episode was cut off and switched to CNN. I was confused as fuck because it was HBO which never does that than I saw the 2nd plane hit.

Now we have CAIR and Islamophobia.

It's one of those defining moments that is completely impossible to describe to people who will be born after, or were too young to remember it.

It really is. It's like asking people what they were doing when Kennedy was shot. You just don't forget it. This was our generation's "Kennedy".

I was actually a year young for my grade due to my incredible intellect. I also hate my parents for making such a retarded decision.

A sign of great intellect is being able to sift through facts and determine what is fact and what is disinformation, or erroneous. A government that can't get water to the Superdome within 5 days is not capable of a large scale government conspiracy. It would just take one person within the chain of command to have a change of heart and spill the beans. The damage to every building including Building Seven were consistent with fire damage.

You don't have that ability so I doubt the assessment of whomever told you that you had "great intellect".

For me in Australia it was night on the 11th when the first plane hit the tower, a bit after 11:00pm IIRC. Anyway, I was up late and was actually watching the late night news.

So there was a "We're going to cross live now to New York where a plane has hit the world trade center". On hearing this, I'm thinking some novice in a Cessna has hit it in bad weather. Then I see the footage, perfect blue skies, and the entire side is damaged up high, smoke pouring, debris falling down. A big, what the hell has happened. They are showing that and trying to work it out, reports that it was a jet airliner etc. After several minutes, they went to an ad break.

Return from the ad break: "We're going to cross back to New York where a second plane has hit the second WTC tower." and they show the footage of the plane flying in and hitting it deliberate. Oh my god, I just seen some crazy fuckers trying to start World War 3. I watched this for another 20 minutes maybe, I had to get up and go to work early. And the reality of what I'm seeing is making me feel sick in the stomach.

I shut off the TV and killed the lights and I stood there in the dark with the weirdest feeling, like place I was in was spinning. I then got into bed and somehow was able to get some sleep. So I wasn't watching when the towers collapsed - I knew hijacked planes with passengers in them were crashed deliberately and that was a bad enough evil to have seen on live TV.

The next morning I didn't put the TV back on as I didn't want . . . I don't know, let that all back in again. I drove to work, I put the radio on in the car, feeling that radio discussion I could handle. But then the people on the radio are talking about possibly several thousand dead. WTF has happened??

A bit further and I pick up 2 co-workers who got a lift in with me, they then told me about the towers collapsing. Then for the next week solid, it felt like, 24hr coverage of it all.

I was in 10th grade, walking to my second class of the day when I heard someone murmuring about it in the hallway. We gave up on english class about 15 mins through and went to the library to watch it on CNN just in time to see the first collapse.

My current managing director for the last three years was actually in the second tower to get hit (first to collapse) on 9/11. She takes it very well for coming within 5 or 10 minutes of death.

Senior year of high-school, we come back from lunch to find the teacher has the TV on and one tower has already been hit. Watched events unfold for the next few hours at school; there was some busy-work in one class, but the TV was on and we were watching. I don't remember what I did on EQ that day, though I undoubtedly played.

I haven't ever sat and thought about what I was thinking/feeling that day. Looking back it seems that on that day, I was more concerned with the fact that I didn't have to do anything in school for the rest of the day than anything else. Shit was going down IRL, but that was New York, and I just wanted to get home and on EQ.

It wasn't until we sat down at the dinner table with dad and mom that I realized quite how serious things were. Looking back on it now, it's embarrassing how naive I was.

Can't believe the folks let me go on a three week trip to England after I graduated in '02.

6th grade. Was feeling pretty sick, so my dad dropped my brothers off at school, and we were heading back to his house to wait for my doctors appointment. Heard the news on the radio, thinking it was an accident. Walked in the door and turned on the tv.

Didn't make it to the doc that day. :/

I'll never forget this. They were still showing it on TV when I got to where I could watch. People that got up and went to work like any other day and at some point their decision came down to die in a fire or jump 70 stories to your death.

DO NOT WATCH if you don't think you can stomach it. I'm not big on watching it, but I always think about it and they have hidden it away and wonder why so many don't have issues with 9/11.

Seeing rerards post conspiracy theory shit non-stop today on Facebook. Okay guy from high school who barley fucking graduated and works at a pizza place at age 30. 9/11 definitely was an inside job because some stupid group you follow on Facebook put some words like "Jet Fuel Can't Melt Steal" on a picture of the towers. So tempted to ask what he knows about physics, engineering, chemistry.

One of my cousins is heavy into that shit + Infowars. "He said pull it, that means Building 7 was blown up by C4!!!!!" "Ok, so even if that were the case, why? Seems like a pointless building in comparison to the twin towers" "Because reasons!!!!"

I was working in London. One of my colleagues was this worthless paki cunt who was absolutely fucking jubilant.

Remember THIS, bros. THESE are the mongrels who would wring pity and empathy for their "oppression" under the Jews.

Remember THIS whenever some SJW cunt tries to play the butthurt b-b-b-but-palestinians-are-brown people card:

9/11 was an inside job. And I'm not talking about the steel beams/controlled explosion tinfoil bullshit.

The US and Saudi Governments used cia operatives planted in the middle East left over from the cold war (osama bin laden) to incite the locals and plan this attack.

They used it to crash the economy allowing them to crank up the war machine to make themselves even richer and strip us of our freedoms.

Did planes crash into WTC, Yes
Did Al Qaeda do it?, Yes

Things can be an inside job and still gone down how it was shown.

25 years old, living with best friend in his house, he woke me up (Arizona, so early still). He wakes me up by knocking on the door and saying "Um, I think we're under attack..." Great way to get woken up. He had a government job so he's on the phone trying to find out if he should go to work or not, I believe I was a night security guard at the time (thanks tech layoffs and tons of computer techs all out of jobs at the time), so I didn't have work during the day, we just sat there and watched the news most of the day.

Was very unsettling.

I, too, was in 10th grade. West coast, so woke up to it all going down. Saw the 2nd plane hit live. Went to school and had history for the first class of the day; that was what I remember the most because our teacher was an ex-Army Ranger, hardcore dude. He just sat there silently, staring at the tv for the entire 1hr 50min (we had block classes, 3 class per day). Was a quiet day around school but business as usual after that first class, more or less.

It's now Sept. 12th where I am, but I spent Sept. 11th sitting here at work, on an airfield in NE Africa that launches robots into the air and drops missiles on some of the people who do shit like 9/11.
