Hey guise,

Just logged into RR to check any PMs, saw Tuco's post, and popped over to register here. AFAIK Draegan sold the board for some reason? Had things been going downhill for a while or something? Last time I posted there I think I was shitface months ago asking for coding help and haven't visited since.

Would love to get an update/explanation on this. If there's a sticky somewhere I haven't seen because I'm lazy, then if some kind person could shoot me a link/berate me I'd appreciate that.

Glad to see the boards survived in some form. Also hi again!

there are two very long threads. but since you said you is lazy i will condense it.
draegan cashed in rerolled in May, told the mods. they didnt tell us for months until the sale of the site went through at the end of july then tuco let us know what happened. our new owner was some shithead who owns MMORPG.com or whatever that site was. the plan was to use our net traffic to bankroll in more ads, he assured us that he would never interfere with our community. then we looked over at the MMO website and their forums and it gave us all AIDS. not the good Magic Johnson AIDS either. was basically unblockable ads nonstop and heavily heavily modded forums with gimpyass faggot posters who dont even know how cucked they were.

a_skeleton_03 set up this beautiful site and it dwarfed anything we ever had over on RR so we just said fuck it and bailed out of there. the MMO guy tried to sell us the site after seeing how draegan fucked him over. he wanted like 7k for the site. we told him to fuck off. found out firesofheaven.org was available again for a few shekels, then we scraped the RR board of all data and now here we are.

Okay Astr0creep. No mods knew about the sale except Tuco. This happened like six weeks ago and you already don't remember. This is like Game of Thrones with you.

Also, why did everyone else keep their posts/account intact and I didn't? Did I miss a step, or was it an inactivity thing? Not that I'm exactly butthurt about losing my post history, it's probably a blessing. Just curious.
