Brazilian jujitsu is very technical. If that were an MMA fight, with moderately looser rules, I have no doubt Gabi would have dominated. Especially without those damn Gi's. Can't stand fighting in those.

Dern stalled the she-beast the entire time, she gave up no position. While the she-beast got a penalty for talking to the ref, so Dern(tiny girl) won by -1 to 0, basically.

BJJ tourneys are stupid anyway and boring as shit, so boring that they allow these freak shows to happen, a 100lb advantage?

Anyway Dern is a on a 2-0 winning streak in Legacy, no one is willing or stupid enough to touch her on the ground, but her stand up is atrocious and she she's missed weight. (she's fighting in 115lbs)

There is a reason I don't like competing in points tournaments.

I only watched abit of of it, but basically Dern pulls guard at the begining, which stops Gaby from getting points from a takedown, which allows Dern to play from bottom, unfettered by a point deficit (fine I often choose to accept guard too, I'm not a wrestler, I play to get submissions). At some point Gaby gets penalized a point for something, I didn't pay a lot of attention (inside pant leg grip?), the match continues and Gaby fails to pass Dern's guard (her legs) and hold onto position. Dern is unable to attack any sumbission (working for a knee bar at one point), sweep or otherwise. The actual score is effectively 0/0 when the match ends. Dern is declared winner because of Gaby's penalty.

My vast preference is submission only competition, in which case it would usually got into overtime with someone starting in a compromised position.
