I actually enjoyed my time working at Taco Bell.
but it was in a town notorious for its big college parties (Mt. Pleasant, MI / Central Michigan University) and was right across from campus. all the other guys i worked with hated working the cash registers, but i loved it. nothing but drunks and stoners for 8 hours, lots of girls to flirt with. was a great job imo.
barely any kitchen experience btw. the store manager kept insisting i get cross trained everywhere, but literally everyone else i worked with hated working the register, so the shift managers always just put me there.
some of my regular customers even started a facebook fan page for me.
three different times i exchanged expired cinnamon twists for boobs.
was handed joints and fifths through the window countless times.
had one angry boyfriend come into the store and threaten to kick my ass (i wasn't just talking to his girlfriend, i called all the girls in that car beautiful).
those were the days.

Someone recently brought a tray of mini cinnabon buns into the office. I work with a bunch of middle aged women who are perpetually on "diets", so I managed to get half the tray to myself.
Cinnabon doesn't get enough respect. I feel it always gets overshadowed by Dunkin' Donuts, but god damn if those cinnamon buns aren't some of the tastiest pastries you'll find in the fast food world. The bite-sized ones are especially good, because they're so easy to eat and you can just sit and pop them into your mouth mindlessly like popcorn. So here's to you Cinnabon!

I still have PTSD of working in food service at an amusement park. Poor people get extremely prickly when they're spending half their life savings on a shitty overpriced cheeseburger.

The only fast food I ever worked was at a concert venue. It was awesome because everyone was wasted. They'd order a 4.95 cup of fries, throw down a $20, and wander away without remembering their change. That went right into our pockets as tips.

This reminds me of my previous job where bringing in bagels were a huge thing. Einstein bagels would happen at least once a week, and there would always be left overs. I think the max I ate one time was 5 through-out the day for breakfast and lunch. Shit's so good!

I worked at Jamba Juice in high school and got fired for making me and my friends vodka smoothies. What's fucked up is they actually bought their own drinks I'd just fill the blender with Svedka before serving it. Not really fast food, but that was a shit job
