I would say technically yes. But she doesn't give a shit about going back to Ukraine either as she makes good money for the US and amazing money in terms of Ukraine. This wouldn't change if she moved back as she works on IT contracts paid in USD.
She has her own flat/car/etc in Ukraine (most don't have these things) it isn't like I'm worried if she'd grift me.

Really depends on where they're coming from, especially how the U.S. is viewed there. I know TONS of people who think this is the absolute best place to live, and they've dreamt about it their whole lives. Source: I make a living working with immigrants and they've literally told me as much on many occasions.
That'll always be an issue when dating a foreigner, however. Even if you're super sure that it's true love, there will always be that slight .01% nagging bit in your mind saying maybe she just wants the greencard. Really you won't know until she gets the greencard and either sticks with you or bails. That's why this show is so awesome, though, and the reason I love the updates more than the actual shows. For example, seeing the reprocussions of Muhammad and Danielle, and how he clearly was only in it for the greencard. On the other hand, you see someone like Devar (who I was sure was going to bolt) but still seems genuinely in love with Melanie.
Anfisa is a bitch, too, and the fat dude with her is such a pathetic sucker. I really hope they do an update on them next season.

My wife isn't mail order. She was already in the country when I met her. She worked at the hospital that I was a patient at. And now we live in Hawaii, so pretty fucking great I guess.

Nope. And she has no intention of ever being a citizen. She's holding onto her Japanese background. I think she's doing it so that my daughter (when she's 18) can decide if she wants to be a Japanese or American citizen. We haven't really talked about it that much. But she did all of the immigration steps herself. It's a huge pain in the ass at that. She described everything she had to do before when we first started dating.

My wife wasn't mail order (lol) but she was in China when we met, and we immigrated her here. We didn't do the K-1 though, she came here a lot on business and while she was here one time we decided to tie the knot.
Been married for years and years now, she's awesome, makes lots of money and never lost the chinese cultural norms (eg: Never became an "americanized" woman). It's a wonderful thing. It's hard to find a good one though, for sure.

The kid is an American citizen, the dude is doing mental gymnastics trying to get away from the idea that his wife married him for citizenship. This revelation makes the fact that he uprooted and moved to Hawaii a lot more interesting. Pretty clear now how that played out.

My daughter is absolutely an American citizen. However, she is (currently) ALSO a Japanese citizen. At least because my wife is a Japanese citizen. Though she doesn't have a Japanese passport yet. There's no mental gymnastics about it.
My wife didn't marry me for citizenship. I mean, if she did, it's a LONG con. Specifically because she isn't planning on becoming a citizen any time in the distant future. Plus, we have been married 8 1/2 years so far. If it was all for citizenship, she needs to try harder.
It was also my idea to move to Hawaii. It was a stretch because my family business is back in Pennsylvania. But the business isn't in the best shape, so do I really want to be encumbered by its existence any longer? Granted, I was employeed there for 20 years, but I'm enjoying the hell out of myself out here. Time of my life. It's like experiencing College (I never went). Love it. Plus, I'm living in paradise. Fuck that cold PA weather. The temperature PLUMMETED to a mildly chilly 66 degrees last night. It was windy, so you wouldn't want to walk around in shorts and a t-shirt the way you normally would out here.

90 Day Fiance, My 600 LB. Life and Married At First Sight is the guilty pleasure when it comes to reality TV in our house. The last season of 90 Day was full of holy shit. That dude gets a chick from Haiti who has a better sugar daddy with homes all across the Caribbean...they seem to be done at the end of the season and talk about things going well at the reunion show...as they expose her for being in another country being at her old sugar daddy's house. He's still gonna love her and marry her though. After several divorces. Then you got awkward ass whoever from New York that won't eat pork in Thailand (maybe the Phillipines, one of the two), the white guy that burned his house down after a bad relationship and goes to Brazil and communicates through a translator app on his phone with his woman to propose marriage to her and ask permission from her family only to have a meltdown and run through the bad parts of Brazil before being found at a dirty river, and some guy that is 50 yrs old and has failed at everything he's ever done, still fucking up while living for free and all while being funded by an ex-football player/realtor and his wife. There is like 3 other couples but they do these seasons so close together, I'm probably mixing them up. There are at least 2 that I didn't mention. They found the drama this time though. Maybe unintentionally with the guy from New York. That guy is just awkward. I feel bad for him and I'm kind of pulling for him because the girl he married doesn't seem like the mean type. It's mostly the guys that are dicks on this show though even though there are some bitches just out for the GC.

That's really not that much money though...at all. My wife and I were on Flip or Flop Nashville just for shits and giggles and we were there for a couple of hours. The big girl, Nicole and her "fiance" Azan in Morocco with a 2 yr old is a good example...I don't think they paid her very much for however long she was there. They probably paid for her flight and gave her a small ass per diem after that. It was definitely longer than a week.
My brother married his wife off of Christian Mingle and my family and I were super skeptical about it because she was from Mexico (never lived in US and not so good English) and much better looking than his exes. They seem to work though, better than a lot of other couples in our family. I was skeptical at first like I said but I'm happy for them now.
