BJ looking old and getting demolished.

That looked every bit as bad as the Rory Mac and Edgar fights. BJ is literally a punching bag nowadays.

That ezekiel choke was the best part of the night. Pesta had him in full mount and got choked out.

BJ looked like the same BJ from the last several years. MMA has evolved a lot since BJ could hang with any of the top guys. He has looked slow in every weight class he has fought in since the evolution of MMA started. Yair was landing pretty much anything he wanted to.

BJ was on top of the sport when the only people in it were people who just enjoyed fighting..... and thats it. Now the sport is filled with real athletes, trained in multiple disciplines. Also being 25 vs 39 or whatever it was doesn't help. BJ still has one of the most ridiculous chins ever though, probably why he was so good at fighting back in the day.

If GSP comes back, does he look like this?

My buddy lost a 9 fight parlay because of that unheard-of Ezekiel choke. Would've been $10 for $1100 lol, oh well. He did get lucky with that Lauzon decision though.

GSP is much more of an athlete than BJ and has a much better chance or reclaiming his spot, IMO. His competition is much tougher now though and I wouldn't expect him to string too many wins together before getting beat.

No, GSP would never look as bad as BJ Pudding. He may not be the unstoppable decision machine he used to be, but he would never look as bad as BJ.

It's just like real reffing, too, where the downed fighter takes 4-5 unnecessary big shots to the dome.
