I'm more curious about this than I should be. I had an old roommate in his mid-20s who commuted 40 minutes to a pizza delivery gig in a very wealthy neighborhood and ended up making something like 55k/year. Same guy was working the same job full time job for a different chain while in college and barely making ends meet. Tipping is fascinating to me and also fairly shitty, and it sucks there's no way to get out of it in the U.S.

Sandwiches. Really depends on the time of month. I get 70 cents per delivery from the store ontop of minimum wage and whatever people feel like giving me. Average tip is probably somewhere around 2.25-2.50, then you have the regulars who habitually give 5-6...and the regulars that give you nothing at all. Factors out to about 20-25 an hour typically, less on really slow days and up to 30 an hour during primetime (Thursday-Friday-Saturday night.) Average is 10$ tip per for catering orders. Gas is pretty much an non-issue and gets covered more or less by the 70 cents per, so it's really not a bad gig in terms of effort vs. income. Our franchise did a pretty good job with store zoning so you're never driving more than 2 miles to get to any one location. Still, you're at the customers' mercy. End of the month its not unusual for me to only go home with 20$ cash in my pocket. Days where I'm only delivering to black people I'm lucky if I'm making 15$ an hour (I recorded deliveries based on skin color over the course of the week on a hunch. Racist, I know. 3/4ths of black people don't tip, period.)
It's a store by store thing. Dominos' delivery drivers make dirt because there's 3-4-5 of them on at any given shift, so you're taking less deliveries per hour. The chinese food place up the street delivers to addresses that are up to 10-15 minutes away, so they're losing out on gas money. The sweet spot is finding a medium-volume store where they only need 2 drivers for the busy shift, but you're taking 5-6 deliveries an hour.

This show is on before another show I watch where I live so I sometimes catch the tail end of this retarded show when turning on the TV in the evening. The final minutes seem to be the time she usually gives some idiot she's interviewing or the entire audience some shitty prize and the whole damn auditorium goes absolutely apeshit! I'm talking jumping up and down, screaming there lungs out, crying, the whole nine god-damn yards! WTF do they put in these people's water before the show?? Holy shit!

Slackers and losers take sick days! I can easily work from home and yet just the perception of not being in the office when I possibly could have been is sometimes enough to motivate me to come in.

We lose billable hours...low productivity by an office full of sick service coordinators can mess with our budget a hell of a lot more than one person staying home for 2 days.

First is a person coming into my office and being told by a person im already talking to that we are talking about "the apocolypse", no other context. Libtard without hessitation or pause says "yeah that dickhead is going to cause one, probably launch all the nukes". After that proceeds to triple down with more typical stupidity.
Second time was about an hour later;
them "I only get my news from npr, it only tells you the facts and nothing more"
