As if you could and I try to read most threads or at least pop in from time to time in different subforums that highlight red to me.
How can I administrate well if I don't know what is going on in as many threads as possible.

Dude, relax.
This place is running fine. You've been doing a fantastic job and we love you. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Thank you for your commitment to this community and all the work you've done to keep the board running smoothly.
You don't have the monopoly on caring about this community, though. As great as this place is, it is an organic entity that is still going through growing pains and can certainly use a few minor tweaks here and there.
As for your official list of grievances, that was the point of this thread. This is a place where members (not just me) can express their ideas about how the site can be made better without having to worry about missing one of their two opportunities a year to have those ideas addressed. For whatever reason you saw this as a threat, like I was trying to take over your system or push my personal agenda on the board.
I'm not your enemy. I'm not playing mind games or trying to gain power and influence for my own personal gain. I'm just a humble member of this community who saw an opportunity to use my limited power to try to improve this place just a wee bit. I apologize if that offended you. Khalid's reaction was entirely unsurprising, he's abused his mod powers just to fuck with me before. I legitimately thought you were above that (you allowed me back, after all), so I don't know where all this hostility is coming from.

By doing so you are saying it isn't running as smooth as it can.
So air your grievances. How can it run smoother?
You aren't a threat. You are the furthest thing from humble or innocent though. You being a member of this community might be a stretch as well, not entirely sure.

Didn't he already make that clear? To save potential rule changes/additions in one location so they're not forgotten come rule voting time. If anyone else posted this, would you all be so obtuse?
Personally, I think if you can't remember to submit a rule change during voting time, it probably wasn't that important a rule change in the first place.

Here's one idea: A thread where people can post their suggestions for changes to the rules. This way, the suggestions can be noted, discussed and improved during the six-month periods between elections. Come election time, we'll have a list of refined suggestions that have been primed for consideration and possible voting. The originators of said ideas can then follow whatever procedure you like to bring them to your attention at the appropriate time. The thread serves to reduce the chances of people forgetting an idea for a rule change they had months ago, as well as the chances of them missing their limited window to have their ideas considered.

That doesn't make the site run smoother. There is an absolutely perfect system that if the people want change they can ask for it. It is happening as we type this out. Moderators AND rules are being voted on.

I didn't change my votes the first time nor this one. Whoever participates can and should change their votes as they see fit. Were you arguing against transparency in favor of hindering some bandwagon effect? Don't see this is an issue, man.

You said there were 2 threads to discuss new changes to rules. I asked you if those two threads were the ones each created to address very specific changes being voted on, and you confirmed they were.
Clearly, I couldn't find any thread where people could post suggestions for rule changes when it's not election time or I wouldn't have created this one. When anybody mentioned any suggestions in the Ask Amod thread, your response was "Bring it up again during mod elections". In several cases, this led to the ideas being lost forever. Sure, that's on the people who didn't bring it up again. I'm merely offering a tool that's better suited to help these guys out and minimize ideas being lost before they get a chance to be addressed.
