Shot of the hardline tubing I spent most of the day plumbing up.

That looks great but I'm concerned about the hard lines.
they need to be flexible so the engine can move on the mounts.

We use the same stuff at work, it flexes 5-6 inches constantly 365 24/7. I think it will be okay, I also added 90 degree bends underneath to improve flexibility. I could also be wrong and it fail big time, worth a shot though.

no, its funny im the guy that usually saves folks in the dunes but the one time i got cocky i got stuck. Generally always air down though but in this case it was too late, a lot of digging was involved that day! Im super stoked for the new raptor mine arrives end of may. Better gas mileage is never a bad thing.

Do you ever take your lr4 to the dunes?
I love that you're actually putting that Raptor to work, though. I always wanted one, but would be a total poseur in boring, flat-ass Florida streets.

You say that like it ever stopped anyone from driving a lifted Jeep or Raptor around.

Also: found a desirable P85. Went and test drove a few and the driving experience in these things is really pretty sick, they're not a sports car in any way but the electric torque just dominates around-town driving.

They put the twin turbo ecoboost 3.5l v6. From what ive seen its supposed to demolish the 6.2. I plan to drag them side by side when the new lady arrives, i'll post a video for fun.

The new one is also 500-600 lbs lighter and has improved suspension with better entry/exit angles which were pretty bad on the older ones.

I just bought a 2011 F-150 with the ecoboost and it's pretty amazing. I haven't tried towing or anything, but the acceleration is pretty surprising for a pickup with a v-6. It certainly accelerates a hell of a lot better than our F-350 with the 6.2 in it, but obviously that thing weighs a lot more. I'm sure the raptor will be faster yet, but I'm really impressed with the ecoboost so far.

We use a lot of Ford's at work. We use don't use the eco boost V6 but they are very nice trucks. I really like them.

Not sure if this is the right thread for it, but anybody have any recommendations for seat covers? The seats on the 2013 F-350 ranch pickup are completely trashed already. I don't care about looks, I'm only interested in what is the most durable. We beat the hell out of this thing all winter long.

I had these Katkinz put in my new F150. They cut out your old cloth/leather and replace it. I got a deal @ $1000 CAD. I think regular install is around $2500 CAD / $1800 USD.

I love them. Picked out black leather with red stitching. You can really go crazy custom if you want.

Damn, that's expensive. Is leather considered the toughest? Like I said, this is a ranch pickup, looks don't matter at all, but I need to do something because the seats are falling apart.

Nah, man. You can find seat covers made of various cloth or beads for $100. Get something, throw it on, replace it in 10 months. Still cheaper than leather (which will tear with studded pants getting in and out so often).

I always think to myself, "Why cover my nice seats with something else?". Then 5 years into owning a car, I think, "I wish I would have covered my seats up."

I can't flip cars with cash, Cad!

Seriously, though, I would have drove my Z another 5 years(it was almost 7 years old) if I didn't need to get something with a backseat. I already told my girlfriend that once this lease is up, I'm probably going to get another sports car. Can 3 year olds use booster seats?

My youngest is almost 4 and still in a car seat. Until the shoulder belt will sit on their chest and not their neck in a booster, they need to be in a car seat. So if you have some sasquatch 5 foot tall 3 year old, then sure.
