Not saying the game will be good or bad but I wouldn't trust the gaming media (RPS is a real pile of shit site as well) to get the color of the sky correct if they had to write an article about it. I'll trust youtube and word of mouth reviews

GIt's a day 1 purchase for me, it's a Bioware game and I pretty much loved all of them. Some are better than others, but i always like them.
I remember not so long ago people thinking of cancelling their Horizon pre-order when a clip of that diologue with. Bad facial animation, lip synching and bad writing came out. Game turned out pretty good I think.
Not saying it's going to be the same, but I am hopeful.

Apples to oranges. One bad clip. A few weeks before the game came out with glowing praise and no review embargo, of which all reviews hit a week before it came out and everything was positive and is a great game. Compared to a media lockdown until now with limited coverage , shit animations, a cancelled multiplayer test which would have shown it was garbage from a playability stand point or it's simply broken, and a review embargo to zero day. Bioware isn't anything but a name now you know that right? What made Bioware were the people. And all those people are gone. Bioware is shit now.
Hopefully I'll be wrong. Seriously. I love ME. But this company is shit now. So don't hold your breath.

I am wanting to like it, but man its not working. The animations seem... off. some of them. The set piece ones aren't bad, but the more dynamic ones just look off. Uncanny valley really hard. And the characers just seem.... dumb. Like, who doesn't buckle up while doing atmospheric entry in an unknown potentially dangerous system? Like the RPS article pointed out. "Oh god, floating rocks!" Umm. Might be cool to them, but its old hat in gaming.
And yeah. All the streamers I am seeing. Not all of them are as annoying, but it definitely seems like they are deepthroating a Bioware cock the whole time.
Oh god. And first contact? They give you the option of trying to be peaceful, or shooting first? If you pick peaceful, both you and your sidekick walk in hands up. WTF. What ever happened to one guy pulling cover while the other makes approach. Ahhh. I should just shut my mind off and let it go

God damn it is so hard watching these streams. These guys are either extremely annoying or painfully bad. Or both. I keep twitching as I see these animations and movements. What the fuck was QA doing? Sniffing glue?
