I still think they really, really, really fucked up with TOR. The Mass Effect = The Force. It seemed obvious to me that ME1 and ME2 were single player proof of concepts for a Star Wars MMO game system.

But no.. someone over there is stupid beyond words. I mean truly and ineffably retarded. So they decided to directly copy WoW instead. Playing that gif right there in a mmo-pvp game? See... that probably would have been fun.

If it's re: boycotting - Decided after 20 years of boycotting on X/Y/Z principle that it never works - perhaps later you'll come to the same conclusion.

If it's about her being a ME fan - she's adored ME2-3, DA:O and liked DA:I pretty well - for us, and our gaming budget, that's a good enough ratio for us to risk it. And regardless at this point, I've realized that EA Access is available to PC too, and we've enjoyed all of the trial timeframe thusfar - yes, there's some annoying nitpicks. But none that detract from what looks to be a fun way to sink a week or two into.

If only picking lottery numbers was as easy as predicting how this would all play out. Who didn't see this coming from a mile away? Gamergate will most likely be the scapegoat for anything negative said about this game from here on out.

So I'm giving the trial a go and I'm already irritated. I won't touch on the CC or the animations much, though they are insanely jarring. Those have been covered pretty well. Suffice to say holy shit are these bros ugly, and the default ryder bro cant be messed with. His wannabe numale facial hair triggers me. My squadmate is dumb as hell. I hit like a wet noodle, worse than in any previous game. My cooldowns are long as shit, and im not the biggest fan of the cover mechanic. Having a jump and dash is great, but it's really dumb that if you jump and dash, when you land you always stagger and grunt like you just dropped 30 feet even if you were barely above the ground.
