"Finaling" is SJWare's word for crunch time, especially when it lasts for 6-12 months. Looks like the DA team got roped into helping to shove this shitshow out the door.

You can't save in priority missions, it's all just checkpoint autosaves.

From GameFAQs:
Here's a workaround to the problem of being unable to save in Priority Missions.

Simply change your active quest. The game will autosave, and you're able to manually save if you want, then switch back to your original quest.

Not perfect, but it's better than relying on the goal-based autosave system Priority Missions normally use.
