Thanks Mudcrush Durtfeet Mudcrush Durtfeet for the DH PL! Was getting pissed at my WD, and Mud just happen to be on. Got me to 70 and ran me through some Grifts.

And holy Balls. DH is OP! Hit full set of Shadow, and I'm up to Grift 50 (T11) so far , and I did that in 5 minutes...

Also, what is it that made my hatred no longer an issue? I didn't have holy point shot, so I was throwing just 1 impale at a time. Get holy point shot, and now hatred is never a problem. Not sure why? I get that if I hit mobs I get refund on Hatred, but not sure how that works when shits still dying so fast.
Mudcrush is the man. He helped me a while back to PL my DH. Played him for a week and already in full ancient shadow and other pieces that are ancient. They are really strong this season, probably the strongest class. The highest Grift I've done so far on him is 70 to unlock primals and I never really bothered pushing beyond that.

I leveled a WD and I started with Arachys build cause it seems to be the best one this season. While running T1 I got a primal hive so my next choice is Jade build. Well I'm really enjoying the build. Doting everything in sight with haunt+locust swarm and then blowing everything up is so much joy. It's a really tanky WD build with excellent burst damage. Only downfall I've noticed is if you don't have 10 stacks of soul harvest prior to engaging a rift bosses can take longer to kill them than expected. Just make sure your at 10 stacks and some of them I can one shot. If it drops you lose a tons of damage and survivability. The damage slowly ramps up but when you're at max stack of soul harvest shit literally melts everywhere around you. The most important thing about this is maintaining your soul harvest stacks. I can now do T13 and gonna start pushing past grift 60. Once I get full ancient Jade, ancient weapon plus other pieces and get my gems high enough I know I can do grift 75. Just not lucky on the drops so gotta keep grinding.

Mud, I could use some more PL on wizard to get some gear bro. :D Still up for it? I needed a break from DH this season, since that's almost all I ever roll with.

Which WD Firebats build are you using? I've tried a few different ones, because while the top one this season on Diablo Fans uses a Staff of Chiroptera main hand, and then cubes a Wormwood, people swear by there Sacred Harvester weapon so they can get 10 stacks of Soul Harvest. The issue I have is that 5 stacks isn't going to make a difference if your spending so much time casting Locust Swarm. I hate having to cast that, on top of Haunt, to get the damage bonuses.

If I have 2 pieces to a set, what's the best way to get the others?

Crafting? Blood shards? Upgrading rares? Running rifts?

I saw a big boost at the 2 piece bonus and i want to get that sweet, sweet 4 piece bonus

If its your first 70 of the season do the season journey. Can get a full 6 piece of whatever set is issued to your class this season.

For my arachy firebat build I'm using this build. Season 9 arachyr - Witch Doctor - Diablo III Builds - Diablo Fans
Even though it says season 9 the build is pretty much the same for season 10. The only difference is that I use Ingrave Justice instead of Spirit Vessel to lower the cooldowns of Soul Harvest and Phiranado. You should be only spamming haunt and casting locust swarm once. With Vile Hive locust swarm automatically jumps to two other targets causing it to spread more. Granted the build is somewhat micromanaging (keeping up with dots and soul harvest stacks) but once you get use to it, everything works so well.

Also what helps me alot is my Templar follower. I have an Ess of Johan for his neck slot that pulls mobs to him and and I just dot everything and mow them down. Also make sure you have the immortal relic.

I can understanding bypassing leveling, but why skip item progression?

Same reason, really. Its fun the first few times, after that it sucks. I'm not seeking a carry to ancients and shit, just for the set so the game is more enjoyable.

With how big of a jump in power getting your first 6p set is I kind of consider it apart of leveling. Until you get it your stuck basically doing the same shit you do while leveling up. You're not leveling gems, you're not doing GRifts you're not solo farming. Your entire focus is finishing that set which means you're probably just leeching rift runs for shards instead of XP, same shit you were doing while leveling.

But a complete Haedrig's Gift is like 2-4 hours. Probably takes longer to leech shards and gamble a set.
The longest part of the gift is doing the bounties. Once or twice a week I do a full gift season run for people get them from 1 to 70 and hit the gifts. It takes just over an hour depending on how quick people are to teleport and shit.

Ah I only play HC where some of the seasonal journey can be a little risky if you don't have help or don't farm a little bit.
