PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

Here's a pretty gross win by Grimmmz. He does call out what he's doing a little bit if you want to learn, but some of this shit is not possible for 99% of us. His shots are pretty gross and him having a 3helmet/vest/backpack and an AWM/M249 is pretty ridiculous. Still an insane win. I guess he had a 20 kill game earlier I missed. All his kills after his 9th one are pretty amazing.

I never saw anyone he shot at until he scoped in, and a couple of them I still couldn't see them.

He took a bullet near the end and took no damage. Maybe it was just that hit bug.

He keeps saying he's good at spotting people because of the number of hours he's played.

I think he's an alien.

You're only 7 rounds in and playing solo. I'd say I'm a bit better than average at FPS games and it took me two days to get a kill. The mechanics and approach to this game are way different than anything else I've ever played. You need to camp, move slowly and choose your engagements unless someone rolls up on you.

That's good to hear. Means there's still hope.

Those early access highlights are entertaining as shit. It's weird, I've performed so poorly in this game, but fuck I'm at work right now and really want to play. There's something very addicting about this one.

Try Duos or Squads, you'll have a better chance at getting a kill as well as killing your teammates brekk and Muurloen with a shotgun because their names didn't sync with their bodies.

I haven't picked this up yet but that bridge-jeep ambush is one of the sexiest gameplay things I've seen in a PvP game

Every match is different, with the only things being static is the vehicle spawns across the whole map. The dynamics of the circles, loot spawns, and the unknown of when combat comes and the results of it make the game very addicting.

On a side note, I did do a duo last night with Sludig and the circles matched exactly the same as my solo chicken dinner. We made it in to the top 8, and died where I got my 2nd to last kill in that video. I suppose it was only a matter of time before getting a duplicate circle pattern.

I'm amazed it was only 8th when counting you there was like 8 people left. So that cluster fuck of a circle i think was a ton of 1 to 2 man squads. Do think it's suspicious group of 4 was in the open within 50 feet of each other in duos. No way they didn't see each other.

Yeah, the plan is to try some duos tonight.

How does it work if you're 3 for a squad game? Does it randomly assign you a 4th?

You can go in with 3 or you can have it auto matchmake you with another. We normally just go 3 deep since you never know what the hell your 4th is going to do.

I hope they add trio games.

One of the problem with Grimmmz stream is I think his bit rate is really low so it's a bit pixelly for some one of his twitch status. I can never see the people he sees, but he's got a much clearer view and he may have digital vibrance up as well and it's not being capture by OBS. The same goes for almost any PUBG streamer I've watched. Summit and Sacriel both seem to spot people out of thin air. Also I think there's some weird frame loss with Grimmmz's stream because he'll often scope, it'll be fully scoped, no animation shown, then him unscoped, then their death. It's not fluid. I think he's losing a lot of frames and it makes him look even more badass because he's doing everything in half the time.

Speaking of vibrance, where can I find that Reshade thing? Or is there another, better, tool for it (Nvidia)?

I use VibranceGUI which just lets you tune your NVIDIA card settings per application.

ReShade probably let's you customize your graphics a lot better, but seems like a lot more work to me.

I just use the VibranceGUI with vibrance at 100 for PUBG and that's good enough. Really helps with people out in the open and helps clean up rain games a little bit.

Reshade is pretty nice, I like that you can go in and tweak everything individually, however, only a few are worth it in PUBG.

There should be a video on how to set it up for PUBG on youtube. Once you do it once it's super easy to put on other games.

I think there are a few youtube guides for it. There's definitely reddit posts about what to set to really help contrast people and their surroundings. Like I said, I was lazy so went for the GUI.
