I also recommend cranking up the difficulty for a more frustrating yet satisfying combat experience.

I'm 1 below Death March. I've died quite a few times, but you are right, it's very satisfying.

It'll help drag out your play time as well, haha. You'll start getting sad when you realize you're getting to the end of the content.

Starting to learn parry is your friend. Installed a few mods to improve the experience I think, and 6 hours in and still only level 3, and barely gotten into the game. haha! Love it!

I thought this was going to be a good game leading up to Everquest, but this is going to be a good game long after that I feel!

Man I wish I could forget everything about this game so I could replay it again lol. The Velen storyline was soo good.

Just you talking about it makes me want to go play it again. I still haven't played the DLC, but I'm saving that for a lul in games.

Do it!

The fun part so far, in comparison to my little time playing Skyrim, is I'll be running around to complete a quest and I'll run across a monster den and get jumped by a bunch of little fuckers! This is so much more interesting to me than running across a couple dudes sitting by a fire that want me dead for some unknown reason.

So maybe it's just that its monsters vs human enemies? Plenty of human enemies in Witcher as well of course. I don't know. Witcher has drawn me in so much more. Beating the griffin was pretty damn fun!

I always saw Skryim as the same encounters over and over again, which removed the awe and wonder of the game. Once you realize every fight is the same with zero to no story it becomes boring and stale. CDPR basically took Skyrim's world, made it bigger and figured out how to add story elements to most of the encounters and that made the world seem alive.

Skyrim fanboys drive me insane when you try to get them to play this game, they simple cannot believe it's better and refuse to play it.

I finished Heart of Stone. It was pretty good. I'm now about 6 hours into Blood and Wine and it's amazing. It's like an entire game unto itself.

Blood and Wine has funny endings aswell. I got a very bad ending, but wouldnt change a thing in retroperspective. The story has a lot of grey and had me questioning myself how to react to things a lot.

Just finished both Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.

Got the good ending for both, and I enjoyed both very much. I started looking to whether or not they'll be making another DLC, but this is it. Such a shame. They made an amazing game, but I guess it's good to end on a high note.

How do you tack on another DLC after the ending they gave Blood & Wine ? I mean, there's a saying that no witcher ever died in bed, but Geralt retiring ties such a neat bow over the whole series retconning it would be crazy.

Don't worry, hopefully they make Cyberpunk 2077 even more badass and then there is Witcher 4.

I got about 3 more play throughs of W3 before then before I get bored.

Ruining the ending of games for your fellow members, never change FoH.

You are free to keep playing after the ending and drown Geralt in a river. Alternatively pretend he choked on a horse cock or got impaled on a stuffed unicorn, I won't judge.

I mean, I could say that the banished sister is a bitch and will murder her own sibling by any means necessary the moment you let your guard down, but that would kinda ruin the plot.

I'm just fucking with Zaphid Zaphid ! I mean, I didn't know what he said, but it's been a year or whatever. Ain't nobody can get mad for saying something like that after a whole year.

Besides, it's the journey, not the end result, right... Right?!

Edit: I do have a question regarding mission boards. They seem to regen for me (no mods related to them). Is that normal? What happens if I stay in the first town and just do missions boards all day long?

Edit2: Man, I need to get a Steam Link (I know they were just on-sale) so I can play this on my TV with a controller. The movement controls, especially when on Roach are out of control bad. :(
