I shop too damn often - ain't got no time to see who or what is at the end of the line - quickest line wins, don't care who I'm checked out by. (Plus with Publix half the time it's a young girl with an older lady or guy helping anyhow - since they always pair cashiers with baggers whenever possible)
With this said... I've started really appreciating the Sam's Scan and Go thing where I just scan UPC codes and click "buy" and walk out the door, showing whatever octogenarian is at the door my phone as a receipt.
Once upon a time you could practically only find jailbait working the register in most stores near me. Then the economy took a slump and you started to see a few boys now and then, and now you often see older people. Jimmies rustled!
Publix usually has older people at the registers these days, so I just go jerk off in the produce section. There's just something about heads of cabbage all stacked up.
I can't imagine what kind of sick individual would want to stand there scanning and bagging their own groceries when you have the option to have a supple young lass do it for no additional cost. I would probably pay extra for that service.
