The next show from the GoT showrunners, Confederate , has progressives a bit upset, its going to be a alternative history show where the civil war didn't end with the defeat of the confederacy and the south is a seperate nation in 2017 with some form of slavery
'Game of Thrones' Showrunners Announce Next Project for HBO: 'Confederate'
After “Game of Thrones” wraps up, showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will continue onto their next project for HBO — an alternate history series called “Confederate,” the network announced Wednesday.
Benioff and Weiss will executive produce the series, which exists in a fictional timeline where the South succeeded in seceding from the Union. In this version of the United States — or what’s become of it — slavery has remained legal and has continued into the modern era.
The story takes place during what’s called the Third American Civil War and follows a group of characters on both sides of the Mason-Dixon line, now a demilitarized zone. The groups the characters belong to are vast and include freedom fighters, slave hunters, politicians, abolitionists, journalists and others. One specific group are the executives of a slave-holding conglomerate and the families they control.
Haha. Wow. Well, he could be sailing to fight them. We don't really know yet.
That said, it's a little silly that it seems there was no scouting or advance warning of Dany's arrival (at least that was revealed in the show). Surely someone would have noticed an armada and notified the Queen of how close it was.
Four Theories on Euron's Gift
1. Dragon Binding Horn- Daenerys' army is too strong right now. They need some sort of plot device to even up the score and give her enemy's a fighting chance. A horn that could turn the dragons against their own army or bring them crashing to the ground would make Cersei and Euron a force to be reckoned with. Strength, this is the best gift.
2. Tyrion Lannister- Cersei hates Tyrion more than any other living person. Removing his counsel from Daenerys would also be a big blow. Emotionally and strategically, this is the best gift to win Cersei over.
3. Olenna Tyrell- The Tyrell's still control the food, a large army, and are one of the richest families. Politically, she is the best gift.
4. Sand Snakes- They killed her daughter, they command a very powerful kingdom of warriors that want to burn house Lannister to the ground. This one seems far-fetched, because even if you remove the Dorne piece off the chess board, you still have 3 to 4 other pieces that are more threatening than them.

Why is this an agenda? They had that show where the Nazi won WW2 and control America. Just another alternate history what if scenario.
More shadows, more jumping.
Surely if it was close enough to kings landing to be threat it would have been garrisoned. Yea the empty castle just sitting for Dany to capture it was ridiculous. As was the way they approached the castle queen out in front walking into any defense the castle may have had.

Oh, US living in a Nazi society? Must be a total coincidence.
Amazon’s TV show about an America ruled by Nazis takes on new meaning in the era of the alt-right
Right, this person doing the same thing you did. People freaking out over nothing.
Night King vs. Arthas?! Who wins?!
Episode sucked except 4 fray deals
By whom, again? Lannisters are on their last leg. I assume the city itself is still on the brink of an uprising because no food, or did that get solved somehow? I doubt highgarden is sending relief trucks.
and that went down A+ with the viewers because it featured a black-free NYC.
