0 Mythril without Cloud USB or Zack's CSB = sadness... but I did get Cait Sith's Blue and Green Megaphone, which does look pretty dope and has decent burst skills. Gotta quickly save for the Realm Lucky tomorrow.

For those who aren't following reddit, JP just got a huge rehaul of most of the 5* and 6* abilities, making them multistrike for the most part. Pretty interesting, considering they're releasing SB-less dungeons soon!

Yeah there are effectively 3 Roaming Warriors now: Wall, Cloud USB, or Rikku USB. System is broken.

Rikku has low mind for buff durations, so is it even that good? It's convinient and may open up team builds without so many paladins and sages, but it's not exactly hard to hard cast protect and shell. Then there's bosses which only do one type of attack or use dispel.

Onion Burst mode is great on dancers and other non combat characters. Ramza's Shout is more damage for Cloud.

Anyway FFX Torment is back later, but it has a new D300 Jumpstart mode like Torment Bahamut had. If I can CM that and the D200 then I'm officially back at 100% completion excluding fucking Parade Float.

Oh and there's 5* Vitality Motes so we can finally get W-Cast on Cloud

Mastered the D300 Geosgaeno torment with 3x CM using Auron, Rikku, Yuna, Vaan, Onion, with Vanille BSB as RW.

I initially tried it with a wall RW and a water team, but that fell apart pretty quickly. Decided to ignore wall and ignore the water gimmick and just go with a standard team that stacks debuffs and does regular damage, which mastered it for me. Auron taunt + retaliate for the single stuff, Vaan stacks breaks, Rikku used her BSB for more debuff stacking and the water damage for medals, Onion did BSB buffing + utility stuff, Yuna healed. The Vanille RW was my emergency heal when the swallows came at a bad time.

I've been keeping up with events and clearing everything, but honestly I've been kind of meh about the game recently. Magicite dungeons can't come soon enough.

300 Torment was very easy this time. Tidus with OSB, Yuna with USB and Rikku with BSB were my X characters. Rounded it out with Ramza and Vaan. The trick is to equip everyone with KO resist and then the damage is very manageable.

I agree that the game is very routine at this point. I don't even do dailies a lot of times. I just keep current with events and dungeons. For the most part I don't have issues clearing content so most relics are luxuries at this point. I just chase what looks appealing.

Magicite dungeons are going to be great, lots of content with the time attack mode so power creep just unlocks more challenge to get a better time.

The trick with the D300 torment is not building a water team since it doesn't help for the first 60% and it's only slight weakness for the last 40%. Boss does fuck all damage with tauntaliate blocking petrifying single target attacks and major KO resist on everyone (3 major resist and 2 moderate resist with synergy. One of the major resists even has synergy which may make it even better).

Rikku is a great USB to RW in FFX CMs with shitty sages/bards and no paladins.

I saw that. Totally nuts but even at 11 / 11 it's a pass for me. I have two of the bursts, SG and Shout already. Physicians Staff is just +10 mind and Excalibur is very outdated. But if you're missing SG or Shout you should definitely pull.

I was just missing the BSBs, Terra and Squalls are vanilla gen 1 BSBs but its always useful to have stuff for main characters.

Gilgamesh has an excellent BSB I've always wanted which combines Draw Fire, Draw Magic, Banishing Strike and Retaliate.

Yeah, I checked like 5 hours after their posts and it was already taken down. Would like to have a platinum sword of my own; wouldn't have mattered though, I didn't have the mythril for it anyway.

Hmm, I got 10 apology Mythril and I pulled once a LONG time ago (like pre G1 I believe) to get the red hat for fire enhancement...not the best way for apology but it's better than nothing. I would have busted cash for the G11, but it was definitely a screw up somewhere so I guess I'm fine the way it is.

Now that Cloud's USB has come and gone, what's the next big thing most of you are saving for? I think I'm going to do a pull or two on the next FFV banner1 in a month or so. FFV is one of the last two realms I have horrible synergy for, and it has a bunch of top tier prizes. If I can manage to land Bartz's USB along with either of his BSB's on the banner, he would probably become my top damage dealer. I just wish the FFV medica was on banner one instead of banner two, since no native medica almost always means no CM these days.
