I can't beat ELT and only survive on PRO or beat it with my one whale friend. (He had max A2 when I woke up this morning.) How far will I be able to get with the crafting just doing the second level average 300 coins?

You can still get coins and points from ELT based on how much damage you do.

I am in a weird spot where depending on which friend I pick, it's sometimes way better to die on elite than to live through pro.

Not sure if this is supposed to happen, but it is.

Ok 2b seems to be doing 999999999 dmg for some reason. Maybe I'll do ELT as long as that lasts. I died before he ran away on ELT and thought I didn't get points.

There's a bug with 2B that can sometimes do max damage. I haven't seen it, but supposedly it's random (and it's sure to be fixed before too long).

Are you applying a high level ATK break? Fullbreak probably isn't enough, but if you have a 50% or better break (of your own or from a friend) then it will lower the bosses damage dramatically. Also gear your entire team in high defense gear and apply a DEF buff during the fight. The boss is 100% physical, no magic damage, so spirit isn't important.

Some examples of 50% or better ATK breaks:
Fryevia - Ice Age
9S - Purge ATK/DEF
Timothy - Attack Kill

There's probably more, but those are some of the common or easy to obtain 50% ATK breaks. The difference between a 30% fullbreak, a 45% atk break, or a 50% atk break is a really big deal. Here's some examples of what the bosses threshold attack would deal with the different breaks:

Engel's All Out Fire (3x damage, threshold aoe attack) against a players 250 DEF unit (average for a dps):

No break: 3,840 damage
30% ATK break: 1,882 damage
45% ATK break: 1,162 damage
50% ATK break: 960 damage

As you can see, the different between just a 45% atk break and a 50% atk break is almost a 20% total reduction in damage taken, which is a really huge deal when the boss is dealing 2-5 attacks per round.

TLDR: If you're having trouble surviving against ELT boss, slot in a 50% ATK break, and be sure to buff your teams DEF. If your team is all 6*, you should be able to take him out!

Edit: Btw Tolwen Tolwen Are we in-game friends? Post your ID here if not. I have a well geared Fryevia up for this event, she has a 50% atk break and does high damage.

My team is 4.4625*s. Only 2 level 100s. Orlandeau and WoL.

But I did manage to beat the boss on ELT once using Vinens DV, to basically carry me.

I was only doing 45% break though. Break the boss, buff attack... go for broke.

But even face planting at 20-30% is still about 2-3 times better than PRO.

Today's been a pretty good day. Managed to pull a zaargabaath, a2, eve, and an 9s. Probably won't bother with anything other than dailies now.

Good thing the raid event doesn't take energy cause I need to catch up on xo and story stuff.

Sinzar Sinzar I still don't really know how to play the game yet. I'm not even sure about the finishers or chainers units. With my 20 pulls today I think I should be able to put together a decent team now. Cecil has been my healer.

I've been using WOL for breaks and just assumed that was the best. I do have 9s and Tim but not leveled.

I finally broke down and spent the materials to enhance Dark Cecil as a finisher. Seems worth it.... 7 million damage dealt on turn one with capping a Fryevia chain.

Played around with him a bit some more, and it's really easy to have a heal land between the attacks so he doesn't kill himself, but no need to bother if one rounding a target.

Do you have a tricked out FV? Was wondering which one did more damage.

Good news of the day is I got my 9S with the 4* star ticket from the raid rewards. Really good to get that monkey off my back.

Bad news is Nox is crashing to desktop like a motherfucker now.

I don't have one of my own, and I haven't yet seen a FV friend either (though I couldn't test with a FV friend anyway because I don't have 2x of my own good chainers.... at least until I finish the 9S tm's).

Even so, I can say that if we're talking about a one turn kill, DCecil is way better than FV, because DCecil has his 100% imperil built into his big nuke, and it requires no setup or conditions (2nd hit of dualwield has the 100% imperil active).

On an extended fight, where Fire Veritas can proc his 100% imperil, and activate his retaliation finisher move reliably, he should do more damage. FV can also do the fixed dice build, which has the potential to do extreme damage or low damage (huge variance), but then he also has to use a turn to imbue his weapon with fire, since fixed dice is 2handed and elementless.

Just to compare a completely BIS Dark Cecil and Fire Veritas (regular build, not FD, too random to compare), then on a turn 2, assuming imperils are already applied, and FV activated his fire imbue, and his counter Full Charge Stomp was activated (lot of if's for FV), then against the current raid boss with a 50% DEF break, they should deal, before chains or ATK buffs, no killers:

DCecil: 1,556,930
FireVeritas: 2,038,940

Summary: DKC is better for burst and his damage is unconditional (except for the self damage)
FV deals more damage after setup, but relies on RNG counter-attacks to proc his best finisher move and good imperil (and doesn't harm himself)

I am using enhanced DKC as my finisher for either Orladeau or Fryevia chains and it is pretty satisfying to see those big hits. Grats Gavinmad Gavinmad for getting 2x 9S with minimal resources. I am still hunting for a 2nd. Daily pull was gold -> WoL. Ticket gold -> Ashe. Troll golds 4 life!

On a side note, pulled 40k in raid coins. Trust moogles seem really rare (2xA2 and 2xEve, neither of which i have) Even more rare for a specific unit with 5 units diluting the pool...

Just a reminder for anyone who plans to use 9S as a breaker, his limit break at max rank is a -54% full stat break, which is really nice. If you're going to level it up, be sure to max his LB at 4* and 5* before evolving him, as that will lower the required limit experience by about half. If you wait until 6* to level his limit, it's around 72,000 xp to max out. If you level it from 4*, it's only around 38,000 exp total. I'd say he's definitely worth the 4 major limit pots.

New Arianna Grande event next week very likely.

Whoops, did not realize 9S LB was worth leveling. I am sitting on a bunch of burst pots, but not 72k worth. Could have maxed his lower level, but he is 6* already.

Man I'm getting constant errors asking me to please log in again. It's killing my TMR farming because my macro just hangs when the error pops up and I have to wait for it to finish all the remaining cycles before starting it again (iOS switch controls).

I just updated to Nox 5.0 and things seem to be more stable for me. I was getting lots of cannot connect errors and those seem fixed for now.

I have noticed that the raid level seems to be going up very quickly compared to previous raids. I wonder if it's a result of the 2B pod charge->spear max damage bug or there are just a lot more people doing this raid because it's NieR. If it keeps up this way, everyone should be able to clear the full rewards within the 2 week time period.

It's being botted. Happens to most raids on GL, rarely on JP.

But it usually seems to stabilize around raid level 24-26, even at the beginning. This one shows no signs of slowing down. Also, the raid rankings are not as ridiculous as last time or maybe I'm staying ahead of the bulk of the bots.

I take it back about Nox 5.0. The connection errors are fixed, but now I'm getting the same "Please log in again" error that others are experiencing. Pick your poison I guess.

Yeah they messed the game up or something, hopefully it will get fixed soon.
