I don't see how Cersei could have planned that shit with Euron, not knowing what was in the box. Was Euron's reaction genuine? Was he just gonna give the same speech except about dragons? Or did Cersei convince him to detour after the little show in the pit? That whole thing doesn't make sense to me.

I assume that they either conspired beforehand to have him make up some pretext to appear to be deserting, or she threatened/coerced him before he could leave the city.

Nerd bitch Sam never heard of the Three Eyed Raven?!? So fake, writers suck!

Also NK riding the dragon. FLYING. Bran will never walk but he will FLY! Theory confirmed!

Was expecting more deaths. The way they have been rushing shit, this episode kind of dragged for an hour and a half runtime. Still enjoyed it, but expected more WTF moments. Everything that happened was kind of already expected minus clegane bowl.

If you thought GRRM wrote it you'd be ejaculating all over your belly right now

Lol no. If this is truly the contrived plot that GRRM sticks with in the book then the great irony of his trashing the way LOST ended will have come full circle to bite him in his fat ass. GRRM lost a lot of his legacy by allowing a scenario to happen where other writers finish his story first before he could.

It is actually brilliant! He can let someone else try and write him out of his hole and keep the stuff people liked as "i was going to do that anyways" and definitely don't do what people hated lol.

I think the Night King can see similar to the way Bran can. When Bran gets too close he sees him there etc. Could be he foresaw the dragon thing and put everything in motion. They seemed to be ready and waiting for it with the spear etc. Letting the little group just sit there baiting the trap.
or because the ice was broken and they had to wait for it to thicken? nah, ice king was waiting the 3 hours for dany to rescue her boytoy. thats more logical, right?

Theon was the worst part of the episode and lack of Cleganebowl air horns.

Nobody should give a shit about Jon/Eggon as rightful heir. Except for it being interesting storywise & to hopefully create some conflict with Daenerys.

Reckoned night king was not going to fly over the wall. Would not have made sense. Knew he was going to melt the Wall with dragonfire lich magic and shit.

Littlefinger's grovelling was satisfying. When Bran repeated the "I did warn you not to trust me" line I thought oh shit, Bran watched season one too.

Yeah, because a guy who radiates such cold that FIRE is extinguished near him couldnt just stroll down an refreeze the water? The waiting was stupid, and I hope the NK did have a master plan for the dragon cause its less retarded.

OMG stop, this theory is beyond stupid. why does he have to be bran? why cant you just say "maybe he has future sight too because he was created by the CotF?" i mean thats at least plausible.

I never said he was Bran. Not sure where you got that. I just hope the NK knew the dragon was coming somehow, because it explains the dumb waiting.

Lol even the guy you responded to didnt say the NK was Bran. Just that maybe the NK can foresee things like Bran. Astro gonna Astro I guess.

So wouldn't it still get released in the following year (2018)?
They are starting filming months later than last year and it ended on the end of Feb. Best case they wrap up season 8 April or May. They could do a October/Nov release but many are speculating they'll just wait till 2019 sort of like CW and other series did with numerous shows lately.
I even found a article to help support all that

I'm surprised that it seems most of you are okay with the Winterfell/LF storyline. Personally, I thought it was poorly setup and very gimmicky. Are we to believe Sansa and Arya were in cahoots or that Sansa suddenly just figured it out after LF's last chat? Either way it feels stupid and without much believable setup . The Red Wedding was something you didn't see coming exactly, but you saw all the previous actions that set it up perfectly. The final LF scene itself was pretty well done overall, though.

Also, why the fuck must the Yara/Theon story line continue in to the last season to eat up valuable screen time? WTF.

I think the general feeling is the setup was all pretty not good...but we got a decent finish and it's finally over so kind of just a relief.

Honestly only way Euron is going to get any real screen time apparently, so I'll live with it for an episode.
