IMO, fuck waiting on engrams. Y'all complain about the game being too short and then spell out to a T how to do everything as quickly as possible. Just play the damn game, fam.

Well you'll just be pissed off next wed when your light is still only 230 or whatever and you can't even zone into the raid.

The light grind is even more brutal than D1 it feels like, I started today at 208 light and I'm currently 213 after ~3 hours of doing solo adventures. Its just boring and slow as fuck. Gonna do some PVP and heroic strikes and see if it goes faster tonight.

Pretty sure banking exotic engrams (or any engrams) is largely unnecessary. For exotics at least, once you get one you should have access to buy it for Legendary Marks from the Vault, and that one should scale to your level, or just infuse the one you got at a lower level.

Nope.

Vault of Glass was doable a hodge podge of greens/blues/purples from completing campaign. I am level 11 and already have two exotics. Not worried about it. You think the first raid is gonna be a ball buster? Nah.

Why did they remove the scoreboard at the end of strikes? Was nice to see how heavily I carried these controller-using plebs.

Also there didn't seem to be a Deaths column on crucible match scoreboard?

Also noticed some challenges seem buggy; was only getting credit occasionally on a Hunter one that required me to use Disorienting melee as Hunter - Arcstrider.

Is it me or do the public events not scale at all? They're either stupid easy with a bunch of people or some are impossible solo...

yeah lost sectors are 100% the way to level up light from 200-260, i went 6-7x faster than adventures or pvp/strikes and its totally soloable and pretty fast. On your map its the ones with the cyclops eye icon, and out in the world they are always marked with the same symbol:



Clear one (the map icon turns bronze), go to the next, by the time you do 15-20 they start resetting so you can just loop them over and over (or go to a diff planet if you are super fast) as you grind light. If you happen to see a public event nearby jump in but I wouldn't wait around for it.

Once you hit 260 or so just start turning in faction tokens, decode engrams, etc and you can do the nightfall and then the raid no probs.
