If only Nintendo was as smart with the rest of their business as they are with these throwback machines. Selling (mostly) shitty, easily available, thirty year old roms for $80 a pop. Genius!

Ironically, I have a retropie hooked to a CRT at home with an adapter that has two SNES controllers attached along with two PS3 controllers.

I'm really a nostalgic moron for even seeing if I could get one.

I've got SNES, Genesis, NES and GameBoy libraries emulated on my tablet, which I play with a BlueTooth SNES controller (8BitDo). It's a portable retro paradise that's far more comprehensive and versatile than the SNES Classic, but I would STILL happily pay full price for one. Hopefully Nintendo keeps shipping more throughout the year. I'll keep an eye out and snag one if I get the chance. It's a beautiful little gadget that taps into my nostalgia and gives me an official way to play a ton of games I love, and I'm very curious about Star Fox 2.

I've never played FF6. Going to start it up tonight on the SNES Mini.

I never played FF12 either until the remaster on PS4 a couple of months ago and I really enjoyed that.

There's differing opinions but almost everyone agrees FF6 is either the number 1 or number 2 FF game

That's a good idea. I may start that up later on my Retro Pie.

Wow, never played FF3 (Yeah, 3, I'm American!)...you're in for a treat. I'd kill to experience that game for the first time again. It was mind blowing.

Bought a RetroPie or whatever as I couldn't find one of these anywhere - Can't for the life of me find any Nintendo Roms (SM3, Super mario World, Mario Kart, etc).... do those even exist or am I just not finding them? Played some Twisted Metal 4 last night - shit that was a great game man

Vimm's Lair: Preserving the Classics .

I ended up going here because of @pharmakos link. Anything you need and an easy to use interface. I have mine set up now so I just plug in the USB drive and it automatically downloads them into my retropie and puts them in the menu. Its' so awesome.
