The Last of Us

Doubt Joel is dead. As others mentioned, this is four years after the first game. After the first game, they most likely went back to the camp where the brother lives. Where Ellie would have gained an "uncle and aunt" and possibly fallen in love again.

Firefiles found out where they were and came after them, killed most of the camp, but some got away. Ellie is furious. Joel keeps trying to calm her down, wanting to keep her safe, but she is plotting revenge. Fireflies found the survivors while Ellie and Joel were out hunting. Ellie is back first having fought with Joel, angry that he doesn't want to go full on revenge mode yet. Trailer picks up in the cabin where the Fireflies caught up again and Ellie found the aftermath. Joel finds her full tilt playing guitar among the bodies of her last friends. Knowing the answer, he just wants a confirmation now and calmly asks her if she really wants it. Ellie and Joel are alone again with Joel being a support character to her this time around. Last of Us - Part two, hate story.

Betting Joel becomes a woman

Playing as Ellie was my favorite part of tlou. She had some pretty big shoes to fill and by the time the mission was over I was real impressed with her skills at knifing bitches in the throat.

Seeing the knife at her feet in that trailer, she's still at it I see!

He's stopped lying to her and they are still after her to scoop out her brains and they've killed everyone around them would be the obvious.

Of course it seemed even more personal than that. Maybe she had a new girlfriend.

ellie found true love with an infected guy, sure he kept trying to bite her but she was immune and you haven't lived till an infected dick has rammed you

Ok so is there any way to stop the dialogue scenes from happening after you've seen them the first time? Trying to play this game on the hardest difficulty... which is pretty hard but the problem is if I die I usually have to go through a whole goddamn dialogue scene which gets old really fast.
