Nagafen's lair(Reborn)

1. Progression based duo server up to PoK.
2. Quality of life additions. (Translocators/Buffers but not free rides)
3. Custom flagging/Storyline quests.
4. Fun for the whole family!
5. Enemies are 35% weaker in Classic, 25% weaker in Kunark, 15% weaker in Velious, 10% weaker in Luclin and 5% weaker in PoP.
6. Fableds have a chance to spawn on any monster that has a fabled counterpart.
7. All placeholders have been removed to allow the named a 100% spawn.
8. Items have been beefed by 35% to allow the solo capability to proceed.
9. 2 box maximum to prevent one person powerhousing everything.
10. Quick turnaround on fixes/content implementation.

MQ is OK bu not Active Hacks, no automated Macros. You can just use it for maps, and very simple BCA commands like telling you box to follow you. (No warp, no speed hack, no scast bullshit).
Easy to solo or duo to max level, Naggy, Vox, Phinny, CT, Inny all take like 2-3 people to kill.
Custom Planar, Kunark, Luclin and Velious access quests.

Can you duo Sky? VP? Kael? etc. or does duoing top tier content peeter out at truly classic bosses? How many people does AoW or Vulak take? Do you have to do the full lords/ladies to spawn Vulak?

Many factions don't seem accelerated at all. Farmed CB and Guk and got the normal +1/-5 style adjustments. This is worrying. I made a paladin like the idjit I am, and the epic quest is just wall to wall faction grinding.

Rest regen is insane so far. Mid 30s now, and as long as you don't need heals in the fight, you don't need heals. That does assume you don't have some debuff that prevents rest regen from kicking on, but it lowers the value of chanter/bard regen for caster dps and shaman uptime relative to cleric HPS output. Resists rates are also very low for classic mobs. I hope this is all a sub 50 thing and things become more normalized at the high end so classes actually achieve interdependence. As it is, utility is very low priority.

Oh, and my heals don't put my healer in combat, so he can rest regen (20% mana bar per tick) between heals...like, what? Cannibalize, eat your heart out.

If interdependence remains low and factions relevant to my interest remain grindy, I'll probably reroll my classes to take advantage of the skewed set-up.

Fuck... I REALLY wish I had time to play this right now. This kind of server is the best to pal around with a friend or two and run through content

If you start up holler at me. I'll roll some new chars to hang with any new players. Class/Race faction issues for your dream combo are virtually irrelevant as you'll spend all your non-dungeon time in the custom hub where all characters originate. There are some ports, merchants, a banker, etc. there and your character starts with a clickie charm that teleports back there.

Some other things: virtually every item is tradeable from quest items to raid drops. This makes playing a LOT more convenient, but it's not everyone's cup of tea.

Some factions are indeed adjusted, but this isn't universal (yet?). Was getting +10s off some trash in sol b. I imagine all the big ticket factions got some love. They may address other ones on a suggestion basis.

Bane weapons aren't needed. I'd rather TS/farming be made easier and the bane weapons be adjusted so they're just really fun to use, but this ain't that. I've never understood entirely ditching the concept rather than adjusting the cost:benefit so you anticipate having one rather than dread needing one.

PS dont make your flagging mob in the deep killable for like 2 AA a pop. I maxed on that guy :p
