Maynard confirmed new APC album in 2018 so I think 2019-2020 is more plausible for Tool's new album. I didn't dig the new APC stuff they played during the concert though =(

If i was Maynard I'd be salty too. They had a great thing going and the slugs couldn't keep up.

I get the art angle, but c'mon. 11 years is a bit much, even with their other gigs.

Granted, Maynard is also a workaholic, so that plays into it a bit as well. He can come off sounding impatient after three weeks, let alone 11 years. That's just who he is.

Seeing APC at the Arlington in SB in a couple of months; hoping that more of the newer stuff grabs me than it currently has by then. That or they play a bunch of the awesome older stuff!
